It's Friday, also known as Boxing Day, and we did our best to enjoy the great outdoors but the temperature was ranging between -6C and -8C and that north-west wind kept the wind chill temperature between -12C and -15C. When we heard that McGuinea didn't have to go outside today, we figured our outings should be limited to five minutes, just long enough to do our business and no more. The snow that fell overnight didn't amount to a lot on the ground but, it sure was cold on the feet.
Not a very happy-looking bunch are they?
Our big Newfoundland friend, Lucy, arrived after dinner to stay for a week or so and her humans told Mary that she was caught stealing food from their Christmas Dinner table yesterday. This came as a big shock to all of us as we had never known Lucy to do such a thing. Arthur, Flynn and Charlie were particularly appalled at this news and they proposed that they would keep a close eye on Lucy and report any instances of this behavior while she was here. The rest of us were a little suspicious of their offer of surveillance given that Arthur, Flynn and Charlie have past records of similar transgressions.
Now we will have to do surveillance on the three with prior records just to be sure there is no scamming going on. Would these three try to frame Lucy if any food went missing? Stay tuned to find out.
